I'd nearly bite the bullet and bring Lovren on. Allows Can to go into midfield and give Gerrard some license to attack, where he's more effective.

Hendo needs to come off ASAP.

Take on or the other off. They can't play together when Gerrard plays as defensive midfield. Henderson doesn't know what to do and is always looking to defer to Gerrard.

I said throw Can into the DM role, he's a better defender than either. It lets Gerrard make the odd forward run when he has protection in Can. Maybe I didn't word my post too well.
