Hi, my gas boiler is leaking brown water. Going to get the plumber out tomorrow. Is it something that should be a big job is fix? Is it safe to turn the heating on? Thanks.

No do not turn on heating, water/electrics/gas not a good mix when leaking.

Hard to say if it's a big job, as may have many causes, some simple and cheap, so expensive (e.g. stuck auto air vent= cheap burst heatexchanger=expensive)

Beter to get it diagnosed first. Brown water is not good indicates a dirty system and should be flushed
