crazy expensive gas bill?

Moved into new house a few weeks ago (tenant)
It's got gas and electricity (4 bed house)
Switched to flo gas as they were offering the best rate.
Got first bill the other day from 21 Jan to 24 Jan for €60.51. 1131kWh used (meter went from 29633 to 29732)
Is it possible for it to be this much for 4 days?!
hoping it's some sort of mistake.
Had it on a bit longer than normal but didn't think it was on long enough for a bill that size.

It's gone onto 29950 today.

Is this average for this time of year or very steep?



Edit: we have a boiler that heats radiator, open fire, no stove.

Is it an estimate? Did you have to pay a connection fee? Seems a bit steep alright. How does their unit price compare to the other gas providers and lastly is there a leak somewhere? When the gas is off is the meter still clocking up units?

29732 minus 29633 is 99 so 1132 looks right at 11.43 conversion factor
29950 minus 29732 is 218 = 2485 * 0.06 euro/kWh is 150 euro

I burned twice that from 24th Nov to 28th Jan so are u sure it is going off?
