It's the sign of a truly awful presenter when they can't control guests like this. She needed to be challenged and brought down a peg or two but Tubridy was intimidated from the outset and let her take control. Just embarrassing that he is seemingly RTE's "top" TV presenter.

As a young person, I'm embarrassed at the clapping seals in the audience who all seem as common as muck. Entertaining the headline-grabbing crap from the ignorant, disgusting, intolerant bully that is Hopkins is truly mortifying.

If anyone saw Emma Willis interview her on CBB, it was a masterclass in how to handle Hopkins- challenge her with some intellect and clever questions and she crumbles. Not that Tubridy is in the same league as Willis, mind.
