    Are they not the standard PWM 3 or 4 pin sockets on the fans? Like these:

    They're normally attached to the motherboard so the bios and software can control it unless there's a controller in the case which is then in turn powered by Molex. If not, they're almost always standard old Molex power.

    yeah thats them but I lack the connector to power them, struggling to find one.

    They plug into the motherboard mate.
