Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Dropped my 4s screen first onto a wooden floor and only getting blue lines down the screen now. Presume it's the lcd screen that's gone..

Any idea if the screen can be fixed and where? No cracks on the screen at all.

Your LCD is broken and needs to be replaced, its a standard iPhone 4s screen repair and should cost about €40. If you're in Dublin and would like a recommendation for decent repair centre that I've used before let me know and I'll PM you.

It can't be that simple, its a "............. screen of death". Do you not know how bad that is?

Could be wrong, but if you're lucky it might just be a loose connector. Afaik it's not against boards rules to recommend a business (as long as you're not an employee/owner). I recommend e-tech in dundrum or syncron in blanchardstown. Good luck.
