Underneath the ring will always be heavily stocked with household and hardware items that relate in no way to professional wrestling including, but not limited to; catering tables, sledgehammers, baking sheets, trash cans and stop signs.

The barricades around the time keeper/ring announcer area shall be structurly unstable.

Regardless of the laws of physics, holding on to the ropes while applying a submission hold will increase it's effectiveness by at least 50%

John Cena's STF, although not applied in the traditional manner of applying pressure to result in a submission, will always result in a submission win.

This is because John has found a way to increase his weight ten fold, so when he lies on top of his opponent, he doesn't need to actually crank on the hold at all. His increased weight is enough to result in his foe crying uncle.

If you don't get a televised entrance, you are losing the match. Quickly

Barrett lost to R-Truth in a non title match!

Seeing that in the smackdown thread is pretty much what made me think of it. I'm almost certain BNB lost his first match after getting the belt back , think ziggler did too and I remember big E having a bad run with it.

If Ambrose wins it Sunday he'll lose on tv on raw on Monday

He who takes the tables out from under the ring has statistically higher chance of going through them first.

In a ladder match the strap on the belt will be infinitely harder to open. One participant will definitely end up crotching themselves on the top rope after falling from the ladder.

You are most likely to be on the receiving end of a chair shot while restraining the intended target.

90% of disagreements between partners could be sorted out if they took 30 seconds to watch footage of the incident.

After watching last week's Impact Rumble Gauntlet match another one that came to mind is if there is someone up against the ropes you should try to eliminate them by running at them, which means you will then be eliminated when they move and pull down the rope.

MVP won by running at Angle who was against the ropes :pac: It does work, rarely.

Although Id love to hear of any teams that were exceptions to this rule.

The World's Greatest Tag Team (Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas) have only split up when one member was drafted to another brand (during brand extension) or when one member was released.

Punches or slaps from celebrities cause way more damage than from actual trained professional wrestlers with bodybuilding physiques.

The Big Show is limited to using his Knockout Punch only once per match rather than just knocking the sh!t out of everyone by using the move over and over.

Mark Henry is a threat to win every Royal Rumble.

It is quite uncommon for Kane and the Big Show to turn face/heel and must be met with astonishment and sheer surprise each time it occurs.

Anybody who utilises kicks as offence, has educated feet, which they put to good use.

Everybody must now have a moniker. The Vigilante. The Demon. The Lunatic Fringe. The Architect. The Beast Incarnate. The Powerhouse.

The end of WM every year it must be declared the best WM ever.

If a young pretender is up against an older veteran, it must be declared that the young lion is going after the leader of the pride.

From January onwards, every single person in the roster will feel compelled to look to,and point up at a Wrestlemania sign. Words are no longer sufficient, a simple point is what's required to signal your intent to challenge your folly

Depending on the rhythm of speech used during a promo, the audience might not be able to hear the speaker correctly.

    What?

punching with a closed fist is illegal, and results in disqualification.
unless it's your finisher, which completely absolves you from said rule.

When the heel has the face in a submission hold in the early goings he will use the ropes to get extra leverage 2 or 3 times but then he will get caught and the ref will break the hold.

Retired and/or old wrestlers are always faces when they make an appearance regardless of how villainous they were.

If a wrestler returns to WWE and has a match, it's obligatory for the crowd to chant "you've still got it", even if that wrestler never stopped wrestling during his time away from WWE.

During any of his promos, John Cena must take off and put his hat back on several times during any of said promos.

You must point at the WrestleMania sign if you want that WrestleMania match.

If Ric Flair sustains enough punches to the head, he will walks forward and lose conciosuness.

Also, if he comes to the ring for a promo, there is a very high chance that
    • Some shoes are getting thrown into the audience
    • His jacket is getting elbow dropped
    • or knee dropped
    • little girls, will be looking at their mothers

Faces forget heel tactics and engage in match of strength only to get a kick in the gut or a cheap shot.

Irish wrestlers must have an unrepresentative stereotypical gimmick especially when working for WWE. Similar rules apply for anyone from outside of North America.

Black wrestlers in WWE will invariably have a stereotypical gimmick too.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,301 ✭✭✭✭gerrybbadd

If there is a Battle Royal or Royal Rumble coming up, wrestlers will often congregate in the ring, and attempt to throw each other over the top rope, often times, the week before the match. It's a combination of the bright lights, the promise of a title match, and the mass of humanity in front of them that leads to the confusion.

When going to a commercial break, the face will toss the heel out of the ring.

When returning from the break, the heel will have the face in a headlock and the crowd will have already started doing that 'building up clap' thing.

Cole will then proceed to show us how the heel took control, exclusively on the WWE app.
