Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi Guys,

My dad has written a book and was looking into getting it published. He was looking online but is not sure of where to organise it from. Could anyone here recommend a good publisher who wont rob him on getting it a few copies of it printed up

    Thanks

You want a printer not a publisher. What sort of book is it? Any half decent printer should be able to run you off a paperback book but if it's anything more elaborate you should consider somebody like http://www.grosvenorhousepublishing.co.uk/ I don't work or represent the company but I can vouch for their work having used them myself. :)

    You could try original writing.

They do different packages. Probably paperback with 50 copies would be the cheapest.

Amazons Create Space and Kindle Direct Publishing are the best for print on demand and no costs to set up. You can publish books on kindle and hard copy.

    KDP is for Kindle
    Create Space for hard copy

I have 2 books myself and the only money I paid was copies that people wanted to buy. Problem is with a printer company is they need a minimum of copies (at least 100). Works out cheaper but problem is you need to sell 100 otherwise you're stuck with them. I'd recommend Amazon or any print on demand companies first. It's a good taster with no commitments.
