And then on the opposing side we have Obama, the Goldman Sachs presidential appointee, protector of Bankers and such unpunished criminals. The man who forgot to close Guantanamo. A global agressor. Murderer of farmers and wedding parties, of mothers & kids travelling to school. Obama the drone strike killer has it all covered. But hey, it's all good, because it saves putting boots on the ground. Heck, if he's not authorising the death of anyone he deems to be an enemy. Then his spy agencies will hack and spy on their own allies. Good guy Obama probably even bought Angela a new phone for Christmas, jusy to make up for his sins.

Presider over an out of control police state, were you can get shot dead for holding a broom in your hand. Where cops will choke you to death on the street, if they erroneously suspect you're selling cigarettes. Obama, the man who'll ignore democratic elections and turn a blind eye to a military coup d'etat in Egypt. Why? Because it's good for business. The man who did nothing, as hundreds of children were murdered last summer by Bibi's war dogs in Gaza. And all by nice shiny hi-tech US military equipment.

Obama, the man who once critised Bush for bypassing Congress, yet he has bypassed Congress on an unprecedented level for a sitting US president. In a nation where high powered, corporate financed super pacs, determines who really rules. Obama is nothing more that a hypocrite contained within an enigma, all wrapped up by a paradox. So if someone asked me, who do I trust less and fear more, Putin or Obama? It's Obama for me and it's not even close.

Wish I could thank this post more than once for pointing out the hypocrisy of the West. However Putin is evil; of that there is no doubt. It's just that Obama is too. They both remove civil liberties from their people and subjugate them. It's just that the USA is a bit better at creating the illusion of freedom. People in this thread have mentioned political assassinations with regard to Russia; the FBI and CIA have never had any qualms about making people/evidence disappear when it's for the "greater good".

But hey, Obama is a Nobel peace prize recipient! Great guy!

Yes the west put in prison no key anyman who Muslim who no like war in Muslim land.
GITMO have bad guys and innocent farmers, farmers never see home again, USA make mistake and now hope world forget the innocent afghan farmers in GITMO.

Putin is evil, but Obama is worse. Yes we get it. A number of posters have made a number of similiar points.

Putin invades Ukraine but lets ignore that and look at what others do.

I'm only pointing it out because the Western media tends to be very selective in this case. Putin is (correctly) labeled a tyrant and painted as such by our media. However, Obama is generally judged on "economic policies" and so forth, in spite of the fact that his regime is at least as despotic. There should be balance.

Its not as least as despotic. You and your pal who you replied to have a bit of a tag team going on there eh? ;) vlad dog putin seems to be on the act too. To be honest I'm not sure how many kremlin bots there are on here or if its just the one bot with several accounts as normally happens elsewhere.

I'm just saying that people need to take the Hollywood gloss off media reports and judge dispassionately. The nut jobs in North Korea are spying on their citizens. Everyone thinks they are crazed lunatics. The "cerebral" leaders in Washington are monitoring the online activity of every single citizen in their country and beyond (and stomping on the concept of civil liberties in the process) and nobody jumps to that conclusion. I have already stated multiple times that Putin is a tyrant. If you want to judge that in isolation, that's fine. But since the US is invariably brought into the mix in such discussions, I feel that a bit of level handedness is necessary when making comparisons.

Where are you getting your evidence for these accusations? And the news conference ramblings from that cardboard pc moron John Kerry don't count;)

You are obviously not aware that Ukraine is connected to the Internet - yes, i know it's shocking, but still true nonetheless. There also seem to be quite a few Ukrainians who possess cameras and who have been using them to take photos and videos of all the Russian troops and Russian hardware passing by or parked outside their bedroom windows. You can see some of their snaps here:
    http://liveuamap.com/undefined?ll=51.52035;-0.08703&zoom=10

The BUK launcher that shot down the MH17 was actually filmed and photographed on numerous occasions, and these photos and videos have made their way onto the internet. Some resourceful people have been busy studying all these and have made a pretty good case for being able to track and account for the launchers movements: https://www.bellingcat.com/news/uk-and-europe/2015/01/17/new-images-of-the-mh17-buk-missile-launcher-in-ukraine-and-russia/

If you can be bothered to follow that link and the subsequent links on that page, you will find sources like Paris Match and Der Spiegel. I don't think Kerry is mentioned.

Then we have a BBC crew which reported that the crew of the BUK launcher spoke Russian with accents which suggested they were native Russians. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-29109398

So you have very good evidence for a BUK launcher, crossing the border from Russsia into Ukraine, under the control of native Russian troops which then very likely shot down MH17 and then very rapidly was moved back across the border into Russia. You don't need any American sources or evidence to reach such a reasonable conclusion.

If you want to peruse that first link I gave and click on the clock and try numerous different dates, you find a lot of photographic evidence showing Russian equipment in Ukraine with photos of Russian troops, their identity papers, etc, etc.

I was making the point that people react differently to wrongdoing depending on who/which nation is carrying it out and warning against it. Once again, apologies. Unfortunately, I don't watch enough daytime TV to evaluate the opinions of Katie Hopkins, so be sure to continue to fill me in on any issues she touches upon in future. "Was killed during the siege of leningrad" sounds like he was a soldier. He was a child that died of diptheria. Not ok, but not the same.

That was also long before Putin was born (1952) so how badly do you reckon he was affected in reality?

Would you have the same rationale were someone to say that their grandmother died of starvation in Auschwitz? Doubtful.

That picture looks like it should belong in a TV mag about an upcoming episode of Eastenders where Dimitri, the local gangster and niteclub owner, is harassing Phil's mistress about a loan he once gave her ex-husband many years ago back in the old country.

Now she's expected to cough up the money or else face Dimitri's tough ultimatum. Can Phil help her out?

See that's a perfect example of a sham argument in that you take what I've wrote, ignore it, and then attribute a position to me that I haven't taken.

    Anyway,

We can quibble all night and day about how Putin is a "Hitler" and whatnot.

Vlad is a genius, plain and simple. You have retards in Washington who were given 6 figure paychecks after they worked a bit (making coffee) on some farcical political campaign. Now these dopes think they can remake the entire world in the image of Halliburton, Inc. and they couldn't even list one language of the countries they are trying to fuck with.

The Novorrussians have shattered the Kiev Nazis who have been shelling kids since August and they are on the run. The Nazis in Kiev were installed by Washington and their massacres were approved by Washington, and that is undeniable.

    SO,
Now that the people that Kiev and Washington wanted wiped out are actually winning and the Kiev skinhead and Nazi forces are in disarray and starving in abandoned buildings and still Washington is announcing that it will supply more weapons for Kiev assholes installed by Washington they will be massacred if they don't give it up.

I was actually wondering....when do Nazi thugs who murder for money actually respect freedom and gay rights?

If they said "my grandmother was killed in Auschwitz" then yes. Because when you say that, the first thing people are going to go to is that she was gassed. 2nd thing, probably shot. After that maybe worked to death. Killed is generally used to refer to direct killing.
But then you knew that, because you used it that way to deliberately try to sensationalise the death to garner sympathy for Putin. Using a child's death eh? Your going to have to try harder to get people to love the man.

And what about the 2nd part? The siege ended in 44, so best case for your sympathy drive is he died 9 years before Putin was born.again, how badly affected to you truthfully think he was?
