No it actually happened and is apparently still happening ,

Suppose if you don't have Apache gunships you can just use their gun cams readily available online and claim them as your own

    None of the above ..

    I don't play them games

Putin himself showed a video that supposedly shows russian forces fighting Isis in Syria in 2016 .

But the video he showed and claimed was russian was in fact a 2009 Apache gunship video taking on 15+ Taliban fighters in the dark

If anybody wants to hear a clear and concise assessment of Geo politics from Russia's point of view as of 2016, here it is. This is from 2016 economic forum.

The Chinese authorities are facing similar developments as of early 2017.

    https://www.google.ie/amp/s/mobile.nytimes.com/2017/03/07/world/asia/thaad-missile-defense-us-south-korea-china.amp.html

The popular narrative would be to class China and Russia as paranoid, are they though?

This is what it is like when there is a real boss in the room. I can see the fear in their eyes as Vladimir reminds them that their is only one boss in that room. This is how it's done lads..

Fantastic composure as he delivered his very well thought out points firmly and eloquently. A true leader.

So good he's the only one you are allowed to vote for in Russia.

    Vladimir Putin, the peacemaker..

It is phenomenal what this man has achieved. Measured and reasonable Russian intervention and diplomacy in the Middle East has ensured that a peaceful resolution to the conflict in Syria has taken root. It's fantastic to see Russia and Turkey working together despite massive outside interference that attempted to drive a wedge between those two countries. Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin has shown time and time again that he is the greatest leader of our age.

    Scruffy knees about now.

Vladimir Putin is one of the greatest men that ever walked the face of this earth, end of story. You can call it what you like but my appreciation for the man is drawn from a well of facts. Actions speak louder than words and as we can see Vladimir Putin is a man of actions. His accomplishments on the road to achieving peace in Syria are remarkable. The way he measured and used diplomacy alongside hard power to push for the resolution of the situation in is a masterclass.

    Apparently

    Supposedly

Inside sources said Barack Obama allegedly showed other leaders videos on his phone of him drinking tea with jihadi John in 2015

    See how it works?

Bill Maher explains the Trump - Putin connections in detail:

Personally, the level of Paul Manafort's involvement was the biggest surprise: I knew he was part of it, I just didn't know how much. I don't think I'm the only one - hie name does not appear anywhere else in this thread. The Washington Post has more on that, here:
... when I read the recent reports that President Trump’s former campaign manager, Paul Manafort, had offered to brief Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska on the presidential election last year, I was alarmed.

Because to Russian intelligence in 2016, Manafort would have looked like the ideal spy. Someone like Deripaska is exactly how they would have gotten to him.

Deripaska, an aluminum magnate worth about $6.5 billion, is a member of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s oligarchy. Putin demands fealty and pretty much whatever else he wants from people like Deripaska, who understand that if they don’t live up to their end of the bargain, they could end up like another famous former oligarch, Mikhail Khodorkovsky, who displeased Putin and was sent to a tuberculosis-ridden prison for more than a dozen years. Although Deripaska has repeatedly denied any connection to Russian intelligence, these oligarchs understand that in addition to making money for themselves and Putin, they occasionally will be asked to be the Kremlin’s eyes and ears, and facilitators, if need be. Russia’s security services work closely with them; unlike in Western democracies, there’s no concept of a conflict of interest. Everyone has the same interests at heart: Putin’s.

Manafort would have understood all of this clearly, of course.

From out there on the moon, international politics look so petty. You want to grab a politician by the scruff of the neck and drag him a quarter of a million miles out and say, ‘Look at that, you son of a bitch’.

Still trying to blame Russia for Trump. They were really desperate when they thought that one up. It was insiders inside the Clinton camp that leaked the emails, upon which they paid the ultimate price.

Non stop anti Russian propaganda in the western media for the last 9yrs since the financial crisis, to prepare the groundwork for war due to the dying debt based US dollar.

Remember the "stories" (all from unnamed "sources" of course) that Putin was funding the French National Front in order to get Le Pen into power?
Look at the state of the NF now, it seems Reuters are no longer making allegations of Russian "interference" in the French election.
    https://www.reuters.com/article/us-france-politics-fn/frances-national-front-on-verge-of-split-after-election-setback-idUSKCN1BV13Z
Wasn't Putin also trying to "interfere" in the German election to get Merkel booted out?

That article is about a a potential split in the national front, not what your propagating.

Yeah. The two stories are completely unrelated except they both involve the FN.

It is fabulous to see that Turkey has seen sense and aligned itself with Russia. I have no doubt whatsoever that Turkey is reconsidering its relationship with Nato.

Turkey has signed a controversial deal with Russia to arm its forces with Russian S-400 anti-aircraft missiles.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said a deposit had already been paid. The deal is thought to be worth $2.5bn (£1.9bn).
Turkey has the second-largest army in Nato. The alliance reacted sceptically to the decision, saying the system was not compatible with its equipment.
Turkey has been establishing closer links with Russia after its recent souring of ties with the US and Europe.

    Fantastic.

    Fantastic.

Funny thing is the Turks got extremely annoyed when Cyprus attempted to buy that system's predecessor in the 1990s.

they knew how good it the S300 family of surface to air missiles was/is. Russia has always been ahead of the game when it came to missile technology.. that's why Turkey chose to buy the S400s. Why they pay over the odds for an inferior system when they have the option to buy S400s?
