    Great pics!
    I forgot to take some.
We had 22 entries and I'd say about 35 there over the day. I'll post up a link when the results go online.

Yea was good craic, love Getaway and Whitewater, two brilliant games which I'd love to play more of, sadly I couldn't hang around long with the new arrival but will be more prepared for the next one and will try bring a machine.
Your DK cab is awesome too, great to play with an actual 4way stick, playing on my cab is quite challenging with the 8way.
Cheers for the C64 Los Lobos, now to source a couple of joysticks and a power supply, although I've seen quite a few guides to build a PSU online, more the joysticks I need to source.

That looks fantastic, hopefully I'll make it to the next one though I know precious little about the game and technique.
Any suggestions about what console games provide the best practice?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 30,123 ✭✭✭✭Star Lord

Dunno how accurately they are, but Zen Pinball 2 (I have it on the Wii U, it's available on many different platforms) seems pretty good. The Southpark tables and the Walking Dead tables are fantastic on it.

Learning the rules for each game is a big thing but I find as soon as you step up for your league go that can go out the window!
Pinball arcade is the best but its a total rip off.(its on PC tho........)

Tell me about it, 49 mill on getaway 2 in practise, 21 mill when the comp started!

Got 5 mill on Waterway, then watched one of the kids there get 6 mill on his first ball!!

Great fun though! Also great for all the kids to experience so many pins
