Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

That defeat at OT still rankles, ruined the last day of my holidays so it did

    We've improved and they've regressed - 2-0 away win.

    Scrap the cap!

    United to get a win.
They've toughened up as a team since August, and got a little more stability.

    Maybe 2-1 for United

  • Registered Users Posts: 919 ✭✭✭RVD420

He'll probably start Mata in central defense and Evans on the wing but I can only see a United win today. 3-0 imo

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,559 ✭✭✭✭yabadabado

I know it wont happen but I would like to see Rooney up top on his own with Mata as number ten.Di Maria and Young()out wide.
    4-2-3-1

1-1 draw i reckon, Swansea to score early and concede late,Fellaini to score or assist the equaliser.

Funny he's made United hard to beat, something his predecessor was renowned for

Hopefully we can get the win, Swansea have been Dyer lately

Looks like Falcao has been dropped to the bench. RVP, Rooney both starting. McNair, Fellaini, Herrera all starting :)

United XI: De Gea, McNair, Jones, Rojo, Shaw, Blind, Fellaini, Herrera, Di Maria, Rooney, van Persie

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,689 ✭✭✭sky88

Except for van persie coming back in happy with the team

A Blind man can see United have become harder to beat, they're Shaw to get the win

Yes!! That is the team i have wanted to see for ages !

Yhh happy with lineup today everyone in the best position on paper we should do well.

#Swans line-up v @ManUtd: Fabianski, Naughton, Fernandez, Williams (C), Taylor, Cork, Shelvey, Ki, Sigurdsson, Routledge, Gomis.

Fancy United's luck to finally run out today. Swansea with a 10 day break and Sigurdsson back will hopefully have enough to at least get a draw but I really fancy them to win this today having watched how inept United have looked in the last few games against very poor sides.

Would be nice to see Young on for RVP later in the game and just blitz Swansea with Di Maria and Young wide of Rooney

    United 1-0 Falcao

Don't think Falcao can have any complaints really, he got a decent run in the starting 11 and simply didn't deliver.

RVP deserves the nod ahead of him, and Herrera has been decent as well when he got game time

Falcao is a good sub though !

Delighted to see Herrera get a start, hope he has a stormer. We have a good mix of physicality and skill in that team and on paper at least it looks balanced.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,559 ✭✭✭✭yabadabado

    2-0 to United.
Back 4, three best cm's starting and Rooney upfront .
The team is starting to take shape, maybe Mata for Fellaini but can see why LVG has started Fellaini.
Big chance for McNair today ,good display could see him get a run of games.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

Happy with that team. Massive 3 points on the line here and pretty hopefull we will.
Reckon 2-1 win with falcao off the bench with the winner!!!

You know its going to be Di Maria and RVP up top with Rooney in midfield and Fellaini number 10 right

A midfield of Blind Hererra and Fellaini with Di Maria 10 and Rooney and RvP up top would be very welcome though

I think it's Blind behind Herrera on the right and Di Maria on the left and Fellaini playing as the target man

Put 50 on Swansea and show us the screenshot so if you fancy it :-p

Fellaini as the 10 with Di maria in midfield would also be possible, plenty of flexibility there anyway!

    Handy win for United.

That was quite possibly the worst defended corner this season

Herrera has gotten off to a great start. Wonderful ball out to Di Maria

Goal line clearance from a corner.

McNair needs to be anticipating the pass going in front of him.

Couple of misplaced passes from Herrera...

Couple of misplaced passes from Herrera...
McNair should have been running on to that.

We're gonna concede at least once from a corner today

Gomis with a free header again...
