Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

We usually start playing attacking when the other team scores

Just came on to post about how gorgous that goal was, and then its 1-1...ffs.

McNair all over the place defensively today

Wonder what LvG was saying to Giggs there when Herrera's goal went in. Almost looked like he was saying I told you so.

Why is that Shelvey pic with Fergie in here? Bizarre.

We're playing much better attacking football now. If we could just learn how to defend

Haha, brilliant. Loved Fergie there, didn't take any of his ****e.

Some great attacking exchanges here.. so terrible defensive play though.. McNair doesn't seem to be at the races.

The Shaw/Di Maria combination looks promising on the left. I suppose you should be entitled to expect as much for £90M!

You spend your life being bitter in Liverpool threads so I guess that is balance

Mc Nair not good on the ball.

Rooney constantly takes one touch too many and then just lays it back :/

Rooney has had some very good layoffs in and around the box

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,136 ✭✭✭✭Rayne Wooney

Hummels will make a big difference when we buy him and Reus

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 42,606 Mod ✭✭✭✭Lord TSC

Lads, cut out the Pool/United BS. Ends now or cards are going to be getting dished out liberally.

Liverpool fans will always want utd to lose. I don't think its bitter. It's just human nature.

Utd getting a lot of 50/50s these days. Not good for the future.

Van Persie killed that completely with that awful pass out

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,688 ✭✭✭Nailz

Shaw has been excellent so far today.

Can we take off Rooney AND RVP, and just throw Fel up front...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,037 ✭✭✭✭niallo27

    Bit harsh that yellow.

Fellaini just got his card and he is looking more clumsy today than usual!

  • Registered Users Posts: 581 ✭✭✭Mongo

Mata for Fellaini in the second half please.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,136 ✭✭✭✭Rayne Wooney

Pointless playing with two strikers, Young for RVP

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,688 ✭✭✭Nailz

The referee had it in for Fellaini from the start.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,308 ✭✭✭Pyjamarama

Its funny how Rooney gets lauded by commentators for doing things he shouldn't be doing like coming so ridic deep. Controls a bouncing ball and gets lauded like he just scored a goal to rival bergkamps... makes me lol.

Fellani on a yellow in the 1st half. Could be a great shout for a few bob on a red for him.

Game has lacked quality since the goals.

But refs are biased towards United as you just said? Surely a harsh card would go against that?

bit worried he wont last the game some stupid fouls from him today plus the ref seems to be keeping a close eye on him

    hopefully mata comes on

Mcnair has been poor so far . Hes like valencia lite.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,906 ✭✭✭✭PhlegmyMoses

Fellaini doesn't need to be making tackles as the number 10.

Haven't most of Uniteds best performances this season come playing 442?

I reckon Fellaini is confused by his role as no. 10. I rather Mata in the hole than Fellaini.

RVP and Rooney useless no pace between them.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,080 ✭✭✭✭Maximus Alexander

    Terrible first half for RVP.

And long may it continue. About time we got a few decisions go our way.

I just couldn't understand how any red could miss those handballs though.

Same happened in the chelsea game if I remember correctly and he had a great second half. Open to correction on team.

    Hmm, nice front 6.

    Blind
    ----Herrera---Fellaini
    Young
    Di Maria
    Rooney

Would prefer Falcao as a lone striker though.

Ah in faireness he prob does when your playing two strikers

    Terrible first half for RVP.

We all wanted Rooney up front,so far he has the touch of Larry Murphy at a woman's shelter.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,006 ✭✭✭edgecutter

McNair has been poor, valencia seems a better bet at right back.

He's had a few good layoffs. People are over critical of Rooney over other players imo. He's been good, but not great.
