Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Well done.
    For anyone that has been there or has interest in it this would be an easy one.

    For anyone who doesn't know of this town.
    In June 10th 1944 a German unit of the Waffen SS heading north towards Normandy wiped out 642 people (men women and children), nearly the entire village bar a few.
    Women and children were locked in the church which was burned.
    Men were machine gunned at various locations.
    They then proceeded to loot and burn the village.
    It is often claimed it was a reprisal for the capture of an officer.

    After the war it was decided not to rebuild, but leave the old village as it was as a reminder.
    A new village was built - with the old one to right of the road in picture and the red building is a remberance centre.
