Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Well, the street sign is facing the left hand side of the road. So that means that it's a left hand driving country

I think the terrain rules out places in south-east asia and southern africa, as does the quality of road.

So that leaves us with Ireland, UK, New Zealand and Australia.

I'm going to rule out New Zealand and Australia simply because of the vehicles. I noticed that there aren't many dark coloured vehicles in those countries and the brand of car look more European than Asian-Pacific.

    ..I don't think it's Ireland.

    So that leaves the UK.

So I'll take a punt at Brecon Beacons, Wales

    Correct!

Glenfinnan, west of Fort William. Famous historically for being the site where Bonnie Price Charlie raised the standard to begin the Jacobite rebellion in 1745.

Famous more recently for featuring in the Harry Potter films.

That lasted longer than my last one so I'm happy :D

    Well done
You even put in the circumflex.

Nice enough town, no where near as nice of course as Pont Aven.

Only town I have seen a guy drive through with combine harvester header actually on. OK it was an older small combine, but nevertheless.
Oh and a guy leading a couple of donkeys over the main bridge. (not one in pic btw)

And they make jokes about Ireland and our country towns.

Well I had already seen the Hook of Holland guess so I was just looking around in that area to see where it was, up until now I was thinking it was a kart racing site in Germany (thought the word on the building was racinghaus). :)

How specific do answers need to be? If the location is in a big city, for example, is it okay to just name the city, or do you need to be more precise?

Catch 22. Poster has a "specific " spot in mind.
Guess is in the vicinity but poster doesnt reckon close enough ?

So it's kind of down to the poster to say city is correct but ask for more specific location?

    Taxi and bus looked familar.
All together with the tram lines makes it look Eastern European.
I thought it was between Bulgaria and Romania.
Then the railway station came up straight away in search. :D

So far I think every pic I have used has been of some place I have visited.
