    Is there a map of postbox locations in Galway city?

    I've already googled and checked www.anpost.ie but nothing.

    Its still there all right.

    I'm noticing several post box's that aren't shown so will sign upto openstreetmap and add the ones that I see.

    How long does it take to see added points to openstreetmap ?

    FYI, due to Google licence restrictions, streetview images can not be used as a source of information for OSM. If you cycle past it and know its there, by all means go ahead and add it

    Usually within 1 min. You may have to refresh your cache. It can also depend on what you are adding as not everything will be shown (the map would be unreadable) but will be there in the database
