When a mod takes an action against a post or a poster is this action always visible to other users? I've seen the yellow and red cards against posts, posts deleted/edited and "banned" beneath usernames but are there "invisible" actions against serious charter breaches?

Forum bans are not visible to regular users. Some mods edit the banned user's posts or make an on thread note but not all moderators do this.

    e.g

Whosthis is banned and won't be posting for a few weeks.

    Mod.

Much can depend on the nature of the offence. Red and yellow cards what have no other actions are visible to users. However cards issued to posts that also required deletion due to being offensive in nature will not be visible.

In short, just because it's not visible that action has been taken, doesn't mean it hasn't been.
