I'd love to take a punt, but no one in my team is screaming out at me and I sadly can't justify using a transfer to get someone I'd be willing to captain in. Most likely I'll captain Sanchez since his home form is great.

Sanchez or Aguero probably. Where's the poll!

    Ings or sanchez

    You sentimental old fool.

Aguero for me, or if I get sentimental then Ramsey or Suarez.

Aguero or Sanchez. Aguero will be my only starting forward anyway :(

Ings is tempting as a punt, will likely play it safe and go with Aguero though.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Why the lack of love for Giroud? He seems bang in form.

Sold for Defoe when he was on the bench to fund Sanchez :(

Can't see Aguero going mad against a much better behaved Liverpool defence that is playing at home (possible famous last words:p)

Can see Sanchez going mad against what is currently a very wobbly Everton defence playing away from home.

    So, Sanchez.

never thought I'd say this but Sanchez is a nice differential this weekend for me......assuming he gets thru tomorrow night OK!

Same here. The guy I'm chasing with a 50 point lead doesn't have Sanchez so I'm going aggressive by captaining him.

    Everton a wobbly defence?

Before they conceded 2 against Leicester the weekend, Everton had conceded once away to Chelsea and then had three consecutive clean sheets (Pool(h) Palace (a) WBA (h)).

I don't see Arsenal having a free for all.

Ye either do I they could deploy the 3 def mids like they did against liverpool. Chelsea only scored against them in the last minute.

I'm taking my 8 year old on his first trip to Old Trafford so it's gotta be ADM for both of us in fantasy football.

    Please let them win!

Had a nightmare, missed some very good chances. In Wengers words afterwards he was taken off for missing 'easy chances'

I couldn't agree more, and Liverpool's solid home form isn't entirely accurate either. Against Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs (top table opposition), they've conceded two goals in each PL game.

As tempted as I am by Arsenal players and ADM, for now it's staying on Aguero with ADM VC.

Going to stick with Aguero this week again. Hoping that liverpool playing away in Turkey tonight will leave them at a bit of a disadvantage compared to City playing at home on tuesday night.

Main rival doesn't have Sanchez. He has no alternative for captain really other than Aguero
I have to get captain right this week. Last chance saloon here.
Aguero is the real safe option and I'd still benefit from any Sanchez haul.
I don't know what to do now. Can that shambles that called themselves Arsenal last night be trusted now?? I'm not so sure

Was going to go with Giroud but he may be dropped now so think I'll stick with tried and tested Kun.

Here's an interesting statistic for those of us considering captaining Sanchez....

Sanchez has never scored for Arsenal when Ozil has been on the pitch!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13,224 ✭✭✭✭SantryRed

Had a dream last night that I captained Downing and he scored.

I've actually been considering it all week and now I don't see myself not being able to captain him :(

    Between him, Aguero and ADM.

I'm sure that'll change but I'm glad to see it. He got me tonnes of points when the others were missing but I haven't missed him since getting rid of him (when they returned).

There are just too many potential points getters in that Arsenal midfield when they're all fit. He made hay when he was the main man. But 11m+ when they have a full squad and not on penos... Way too much.

I'm going for Aguero. For the following reasons:

    1. Liverpool played away in Turkey on Thurs, as opposed to City who played at home on Tues.
    2. City rebound, and they'll have Yaya back to help in this regard.
    3. He's Aguero.

I think its getting to the stage where I'd be delighted to see any of my rivals without Aguero captain on Saturday morning. Strangely confident on this one

I'm thinking of just captaining him every week. Sure he'll blank the odd one, but I feel that if I just captain him every week, he'll outscore my other picks, who will inevitably back fire as often as they come off!
