Hours can be quite tricky though.
What are opening times of the recycling centre?

The recycling centre is open to the public:

Monday to Thursday from 2pm to 4pm
    Friday from 2pm to 3pm
    Saturday from 9am to 1pm

Note - periodically it may be necessary to close the recycling centre at short notice during the times listed above for various reasons

nice one Russel, this will come in handy...was facing the prospect of paying to dump stuff, which is both expensiive and environmentally unfriendly. this is a much better option. cheers!

Just a tip if anyone plans to buy a new kettle or similar. The seller will then take old kettle back for recycling.

If you have purchased a new electrical or electronic appliance or piece of equipment the retailer or supplier is required to take back you old appliance or equipment similar to the appliance or equipment you purchased, free of charge on a one-for-one, like-for-like basis.
