I'm hoping someone can help with a query. I'm having trouble getting head around it & don't want to call back into local DSP office as I've already been in & I'm sure they'll think I'm thick.

In 2009 i was on JSA & went from there to a CE scheme, was on maternity benefit the end of 2010/2011. In 2011 i was on illness benefit for a few months by Oct 2011 i was back in my CE scheme until i finished there last year. I thought i would be entitled to the back to work dividend (going back to work) but because of my time on illness benefit I'm not. Can anyone explain that to me please?

According to this "illness benefit needs to be claimed for more than 3 years"
    http://www.citizensinformation.ie/en/social_welfare/social_welfare_payments/social_welfare_payments_and_work/back_to_work_enterprise_allowance.html
So because you were under this time period ill, it does not count.

    I think:)
