Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just when you start to have a bit of hope as a gooner, Arsenal remind you that they're Weak.

What part of France is Giroud from?

The only part that doesn't strike by the looks of it.

Keep the camera on French Andy, he'll probably miss his seat when he goes to sit on the bench.

George Hamilton sticking the knife in tonight.

A bit ott in my opinion. Plenty of time for arsenal to get back into this game and they have created plenty of chances.

Might concede more though!!!! Great move from Monaco.

What part of France is Giroud from?

Nearly 500km from Monaco by road if that's what you're asking.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,161 ✭✭✭Cypher_sounds

Ray Haughton when Giroud went off " at least he got into dangerous positions, I've not seen Welbeck get into those positions"....

This after a full half of him complaining that Welbeck is getting into the box too much and not staying wide.

Level of the top teams in the premiership just ain't the same anymore, barring Chelsea

You can be getting into the box and doing fcuk all at the same time. Welbeck has done fcuk all

Well done Welbeck, kick the ball off your teammate on the ground rather than put it into the net. Cant finish to save himself!

Incredibly unlucky from Welbeck. Blocked from going in by Walcott....

Arsenal beginning to get in some sort of groove.

True, haven't been watching much of the game but first half saw Welbeck get into the box but not continue his run for a tap in behind the defence.

Despite being clearly the better team, Monaco make so many mistakes it's frustrating to watch.

How in the name of Christ was that in any way Welbeck's fault? Perfect strike and deserved to go in.

It's why we sold him, couldn't finish his dinner. Having said that I'd rather we kept him and nt brought in Falcao.

You knew Sanchez was going down there as soon as he got the ball.

Well it wasn't a perfect strike, was it? It hit his own man. He lashed at it. A little Walcott-esque dink and that's a goal. You don't always have to welly it.

Mert has been atrocious. Constantly out of position. Awful

If he looks at the goal maybe he doesn't hit it at a player in the way?

More like Arsenal believing all the hype about being an easy game since the draw was made

sensible to take off Coquelin, not contributing much and likely to pick up a 2nd yellow
