Hey myself and 2 work mates are due to start fas at the end of march for phase 2 of our electrical apprenticeship.

We are currently looking for somewhere to rent for the 5 months that we will be attending. Anything on daft.ie is 1 year lease minimum and out of our budget.

If anyone has any suggestions as to where else we could look (student village or holiday apartments etc) or knows of someone renting out a 3 bed house could you please let us know.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

Ahh fas. Best 5 months ever in phase 2. Kevin Barry will probably be your instructor.

Anyway, I didn't have to rent when I was there but anyone that did stayed in LIT'S student accommodation. Either Thomond or Cratloe village. I'd reccomed Thomond. Stayed there myself for phase 6 in LIT. Ask for Mark. The only thing is its on the other side of the city but a handy spin out the motorway.

Also, worth a shot trying Mary I and UL's student accommodation. They have a few student villages dotted around but I think supply is short and demand is high. No harm ringing FAS and asking about accommodation too. They'll probably have a list of landlords with spare rooms. Best of luck
