Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi, looking for some help.

I need to preserve a flower for framing or going in glass case.

Does anyone know anywhere in Mayo (or near it) that does flower preservation?
    thanks

    Google turned up this http://www.jennyhamilton.com/flower_preservation

Depending on the flower, it's not hard to do it yourself, you can use a system like the Microfleur or what I used to do was place flowers in layers of tissue paper in between sheets of blotting paper and pile up encyclopaedias on top and leave in a warm dry place for a few months. Generally only works on single flowers such as viola, geranium etc.
