Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

tactically rodgers has always been very poor so not sure why people are giving out when some point that out.

bilic is a couple of levels above rodgers

So you dont like Rodgers, I get that but Bilic is one penalty better than Rodgers.

Rodgers gave us a complete tactical overhaul over xmas which has put us on this great run and has as the only unbeaten side in the premier league this year, also turning our defence around 5 clean sheets away from home in a row which we havent done in 30yrs, so yea he really is tactically inept:rolleyes:, as for bilic if he is so good what the fcuk is he doing in turkey

Well he seems to be on course to winning a league in Turkey and having a goo in Europe. I think he's a good manager, did well with Croatia up to the 2012 Euros.

And why did he have to give us a complete tactical overhaul over xmas?

Because we were absolutely useless up to that point in the League and the Champions League.

Funny thing is id be confident that Liverpool are going to win the champions league quicker then arsenal.

Bit of a crazy thing to think that. First you'd actually have to get out of your group, which you really struggled with.

Sky's marketing team will need to go into overdrive after those European results. No harm liverpool going out as it would've taken a stroke of luck to win it. Not good enough at a European level as has been proven all season.

Actually being in the tournament helps too.

Why are we hiding behind this "English teams are ****e" line?

    We were ****e.

I hardly even care tbh. We can focus on the league now.

It must be only boards that there's a Liverpool Arsenal rivalry. :pac:

I still like the Gunners, I'd say they'll finish third.

To be fair to Brendan he said Liverpool could have won the champions league not the Europa, so he can pour himself a glass and sit looking at the self portrait tonight knowing he was right

Lol, love this. Focus on the league? For WHAT? top 4? Get Champions League? You know Winning Europa gives you the same thing, except, you actually get a trophy.

Struggled this year but arsenal have only got to one final in their history and have been a main stay in the competition for 17 or 18 years so it shows arsenal are the ones who really struggle in the competition.

O.k, sof If we're going to try and predict who is more likely to win the Champions League "anytime soon", which is what started this whole coversation, then we should take into consideration that the ability to get out of the group stages and into the last 16 of said competition automatically makes Arsenal the team more likely to win than Liverpool who couldn't get out of their group., fell out of the competition.. and then for extra impetus failed to progress in the drop down competition over two legs.

Fact of the matter is, neither Liverpool or Arsenal look like winning the Champions League anytime soon, but to claim Liverpool look like they'd have more of a chance at the moment, based on the cold hard facts, if you are a logical person, is a load of horse****

TL;DR- Liverpool fail to progress to the last 16 of the Uefa Champions League, then fail to progress to the last 16 of the Europa league ,the second division equivalent, yet somehow are more likely to win the Champions League anytime soon than Arsenal who did progress to the Last 16 of the Champions league and who despite the embarrasment in the first leg, are still in the tie. No.

In fairness many did slate Rodgers after Thursday night.
