Noticed on PP website they said somebody won €206k on Tuesday for a €1 stake on a 17 football team accum
I thought the max you could win on a machine was either €50k or €100k depending on the bookie involved?

Checked in a shop and €200,000 in PP.
Wonder how much more he would have received if he did it on the coupon
in shop instead of the machine?

Had a free bet on one of those machines a few weeks ago so just did an eight or nine team accum. Every price taken was shorter than coupon price, never mind top price.

they're run by a private company independent of Paddys or whichever bookmaker, and would just pay a rent/commission to the bookmaker.
anyone dumb enough to use them deserves to lose their money.

Sometimes the odds can be better on them than in shop.

Maybe not on football but rugby and basketball the lines can be slow
    to move on the machine.
It's always worth double checking them.

Youre right the bb lines can be a nuisance alright. I've been stung a couple of times

got a free bet on one of those a few weeks back also
couldnt believe how bad they odds were and dont understand how anyone
in their right mind would use them for footie bets
imagine how much you'd lose if you hit a ten team accum on one of those on footie with those awful odds

Must be because it's way easier to do an accum on the machine instead of writing them out.
