Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It started for me, but is very choppy and out of sync. Pretty unwatchable. 😢

It's about the same, which considering it's thinner and has a Retina display is impressive. But they sacrificed the processor to do it.

No 15" MBP update? I'm worried now that this portability crazy means the 15" is going the way of the dodo

Have they done price and release date for Apple Watch yet? Looks amazing though, can't wait for it.

I was the same on the MBP. Switched to ethernet on the iMac and it's all good now!

That's more a design choice than a sacrifice. They could have added a second port if they wanted - but they don't.

That new MacBook is the star of the show so far for me. Really amazing what they were able to do with it, pity the price wasn't a little but lower.

Anyone else's Siri activate when the presenter said "Hey Siri" to his Apple Watch? :D

All the apps stuff may seem boring - actually it is boring - but it's one of the more important parts of the event for Apple. The main thing for users isn't the style, the processing power etc, it's content. No point in having the mutt's nuts of a tech piece and nothing to run on it.

I do wonder however how many apps we're going to plough through. He can open his garage door! On his Apple Watch! He's super excited.

All these apps useful if you are a successfull businessman flying in and out of airports and staying in swanky hotels. I wish I had a garage door to open.

Apple design the platform. It's up to developers what they do with it. Nobody, not even Apple, foresaw what they would do with the iphone and iPad.

Hence the importance of the apps section of the presentation. The message is "Developers are already on board with the Apple Watch. There'll be buckets of stuff to play with!"

The TV commercial they've just played gives the same message. A massive app eco-system already in place. Don't how true that is, but that's the pitch.

Belfast will have it. You can get a nice new Ireland rugby jersey up there too.

Not that I'll be getting it (waiting for gen 2). Did they give prices for the Apple Watch?

I don't understand the pricing on the standard Apple watch. $549 up to $1049 depending on the band? How could a band add $500 to the price?
