Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A close, scrappy game, but Manchester United ultimately win. Sunderland don't create a clear cut chance.

    1-0.

Falcao to score 8, United to win by 17

Sunderland will look like Barcelona for 90 minutes, United might scrape the result in the end, expect a Fellaini assisted goal

If he picks the right team, formation United win this 4 nil. Picks the wrong team, formation then it's 1-1 or even 2-1. Defeat here and I think LVG should be sacked straight after the game.

Utd have lost 2 in last 20 games. Sitting in 4th.

    Calm down

Always a tough game against Sunderland, will be happy with a win whatever way it comes about, dropping points here is not an option.

This game is on Setanta. Might want to put it in the thread title before the inevitable 50 questions about if it's on tv.

Well if you're happy with sitting in fourth and playing some of the worst football in the league then good for you.

Sunderland have lost by more than 3 goals only once this season. They've lost by more than 2 goals only twice.

True, but I still think we can beat them easy if we put in a good performance.

And actually play with some pace to open them up,that's been our big problem.Even lesser teams find it easy to close space as we are too slow in our build up to attacks.

Poyet to instill some fire back into Sunderland. They've got a couple of big games after this one. Defore to score. 1-0.

Hopefully won't have to turn this one off after the first half. Hard to know what utd will do.

Think this will be another one of those games. Early scare for United but I'm gonna go with United clawing a win back. United 2-1

poor Mata is getting an awful hard time of it

Rooney up top and Mata behind.

Falcao's touch is awful. He tries but he looks more like championship striker at the moment.

Totally agree, he's getting a hard doing recently. When the last match he started?

Touch of jack charlton about Louis there. Didn't know one of his players.

Question to LVG "will Sunderland come and try and frustrate you today"

The reporter shouldn't worry Utd are well capable of frustrating themselves and us watching.
