Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I couldn't care less about the match. I'm just looking forward to watching Man Utd fans morph into Man City fans before our very eyes in this thread.

If you say it 3 times in front of a mirror at midnight on 25th of May, Luis Garcia pops out and sings the Luis Garcia song.

City have a terrible record at Anfield although you have to think that Liverpool playing extra time over in turkey on Thursday night could have a bearing on the energy levels of some of the Liverpool players.

    Big game.
With Liverpool out of the almost champions league, they should have a free run at the league now.
Big chance to put the pressure on chelsea tomorrow. With them not playing.

City big rivals now seeing as they are crashing out of the champions league early, so no Europe for them means they have a big chance at winning the league. Big six pointer game tomorrow.

Only Chelsea and arsenal left in Europe now in the third/fourth trophy champions league.

Hopefully the Liverpool players, fans and etc won't be too distracted by their major sense of outrage against dunkin donuts.

It's a pity it's a not rugby though. Proper game. No cheating in that mans game.

As as Gooner I want both teams to lose.

Liverpool to collect all 3 points with a 2-1 victory.

EDIT: Forgot about Liverpools game on Thursday but fcuk it.

Gonna go with 1-3. Aguero with 2 and Nasri for the other

Would take a draw. But fear we'll lose after Thursday's extra time.

Same. If Sakho, Henderson, Coutinho and Gerrard are fit though we might be ok, and Markovic might come in as well, so that would be 5 players who didn't play on Thursday.

Hendo to win the toss and put City in to bat, Skrtel to bowl Aguero in the first over, Lovren to drop a thick edge off Dzeko at gully, Joe Allen to score 13 singles by tapping the ball around the in field, Sterling to lap Balotelli while running 4 off a square cut, and Ibe to score the winning runs off a Silva googley

And if it rains, we call a draw.

I would be happy with a point against city. Happier with 3 points but hard to see it happening.

Liverpool win. Play better against bigger teams.

    Awaits insult.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,978 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

Liverpool haven't lost a game in a while but I don't think they will be able to hold City here. Yaya Toure running midfield and I just don't see who is going to keep Silva and Nasri quiet. Aguero will get a couple I think.

Not this year though. Been beaten out the gate by all the better teams.
I reckon the Thursday night game will prove a major factor in the last 20-30 mins.

Sturridge is on the bench. Correct decision as his best performances have been as an impact sub. No Sakho either & Johnson Starts.

Sturridge on the bench, no Salhouse. Henderson back though.

Liverpool XI vs. Man City: Mignolet; Can, Skrtel, Lovren; Henderson, Allen, Moreno, Markovic, Lallana; Coutinho, Sterling. #LFC

No Ibe on bench must be injured.

4 strikers on the bench haha madness. Bad news re Ibe and sakho.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,037 ✭✭✭✭~Rebel~

Christ I wish we were starting a striker...

What is the point of 4 strikers on the bench though...why not 3 and Manquillo in case we're getting overrun on that side with Markovic.
