Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Another dusgraceful call

What else was disgraceful? Apart from Fabregas and Costa not on yellows and a handball decision for either team there's been nothing disgraceful about the ref's performance.

    Edit: missed rose aswell.

Desperately soft goal to concede. If a team cuts you to ribbons with intricate passing or does what Liverpool did to us earlier and smack in a couple of screamers, then fair enough; you hold up your hands and say "fair do's". But that was a p1ss poor goal to let in.

A clear foul and red card not given again on costa. Taylors missed 3 or 4 terrible calls hes a poor ref .

Chelsea fans buying into Joses "campaign against chelsea" a bit too much.

Never a foul or a card lol you're hilarious lad

Not pretty but its Chelsea who have the lead. We've kept it tight at the back, not given up chances, not given Kane space to run into. Another fine set pieces gives us the breakthrough goal.

Most impressive has been Diego Costa up front, he's made it so difficult for the Spurs backline. He's made something out of nothing passes played to him and he's gotten firmly under the skin of the Spurs players. He's a menace.

Nah sure he only got the ball first and was kicked.
Clearly costa was in the wrong.

Sorry dont see it. You're 1-0 up so I'd take a chill for now.

Hope Chelsea park the bus and we sneak two goals in.

    Does not compute.

If the bus is parked an we ship a goal we'll change it up. No way is this finishing 1-0 either way

Ha. It was a terrible free kick that went to 5 spurs players. Unluckily for us it was headed poorly. Fine set piece my arse.

And yet we score so many from set pieces, it doesn't matter so much that we didn't win the first ball if the opposition couldn't deal with it and we are set up to win the second ball. Sure its poor defending but equally it happens so often with Chelsea it can't be called a coincidence.

Ah joking aside the ball came over his head and he went to clear it. Nothing in it.
The theatrics probably didnt help his case but sure thats the way you play.
The boy who cried wolf etc etc

He's pretty poor and certainly not worth the money he's being paid.

I saw him and Lampard a week or so ago providing analysis in a game and Lampard was in a different league. He articulated much better and managed to avoid cliches.

Yere well able to win. That backlibe is slow and nervous with kane on the ball.

So it wasn't a fine set piece then.

I thought we edged the half to be honest. Aside from the goal and the header shortly after I thought we had the better chances.

Will be interesting to see what both managers do this half.

Depends really how you view it. I think it's clear Chelsea have spotted that spurs defend set pieces in those areas in a straight line without a secondary player in front and they've capitalized.

We cant go more defensive. Theyre all on ha.

Coys need to be a bit more clinical in the 2nd hallf and ignore costa's theatrical trolling

So Mourinho knew 5 spurs players would be competing for the ball and that the front man would head it back, it hit off one of the spurs players and for it to fall to Terry?

Seeing as that's the first time this game that type of free kick was taken I say it was a very lucky goal provided by poor defending.

Two shocking goals to concede. That must drive a manager crackers. Definite OG; it was never going to go in otherwise.

Chelsea are the undisputed kings of the deflected goal. Even with Lampard gone.
