After yesterday's epic sunshine today is a gloomy disappointment.

Low after midnight was 6.7C, it rose to 8.7 - then fell back to 8.4C (the hardly noticeable eclipse?) it's now back up to 8.6 and the sun, (or at least half of it!) is breaking through the gloom.

Everything is inaccurate! It's a cheap "Made in China" weather station. IMO no more explanation is necessary.

Cool last night - down to 2C with car top frost.

Sunny cloudless morning and mainly sunny afternoon. Temp rose to 9.4C just after 11.30 am and then started to fall back in strong sunshine!

Cloud increased and before 6 pm our 11-day dry run ended when a shower dumped 2.2 mm of rain/hail.

Sky now clear, light breeze and 4.4C.

Good bright spells of sunshine interspersed with heavy hail/ rain showers here in Tralee, one of which woke us all up last night, was waiting for the thunder but did not hear any.

Working outdoors for a bit yesterday and today in the bracing WNW wind ( high gust 47 kph, calmer now 10 kph )

Local stations saying got up to 9C today and back now to 5C
