Repair cost

    I went to a garage to get some repairing done. It included repairing/welding a side panel of the carburetor cage, replacing a headlamp with a second hand one, checking for engine leak and cleaning the engine (does not include repairing the engine).
    The guy quoted me €430. Is it worth?

    I heard used head lamps for Rolls Royce are 2000 each so you possibly got a bargain

    Got a price from Atlas... It is 500.. But Atlas guys always quote a big price!

    If you're in Dublin Id be more than happy to recommend Steve in A1 Autocare out in Finglas/Charlestown. Did a fair bit of work for me on my cars and was excellent. He knows his stuff. Let me know if you want his number.

    I wouldn't bother going near Atlas or any of those places tbh.
