Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have had texting working on my HKC 10/70 for a couple of years now via the DTV add-on module over the land line. The GSM dialler isnt really an option due to poor mobile coverage.

But helpfully Eircom have decided to no longer support the sending of Texts over the landline.

I disabled texting via the communications menu (Misc Options->Text Enable->False)

I had an activation last night but I didn't get a voice call, I had presumed that it would voice call the user numbers instead.

Do I need to put my mobile number into the Phone Options->Phone and Account Nos->Phone Number 1-4 instead. I don't have a monitoring contract.

    Yes that is correct.
You also need to change the protocol for each number to voice.

If you have the zone audio set up it will tell you the name of the activated zone in the call.

    Hi Altor

thanks for that, the Protocol change was the missing piece of the puzzle. I changed it to voice for my two stored phone numbers and I have successfully made calls using the test call option.

    regards
