    Seening as the mew 5ds is on the way when do people wreckon they will discontinue the 5d mark iii

    5ds and 5dr are not a replacement for the 5d3, more just a direct competion for the Nikon d810, useful for more specialised work, but not an all rounder, walk around wedding tog-type camera that the 5d3 or the amazing looking d750 is.

    5d4 is expected to be out by the end of the summer, 5d3 will probably be continued until stock is sold out after that, expect a few months.

    2nd hand and new price is dropping already. I picked up a reasonably priced well looked after 5d3 a couple of weeks ago. I know the price will drop further but I have a few jobs between now and September that I'll need a 2 camera set up for so had to bite
