    Hi I have a direct debit set up with bank of Ireland. How do I cancel it through the app or online banking ?

    Thanks for contacting us on Boards and sorry for the delay.

    If you are registered for 365 Online, you can cancel a direct debit through the website.

    Please see the following steps:
     
    • Select the ‘Online Service Desk’ tab from the 365 homepage.
    • Select the option ‘SEPA Direct Debit Services’ from the drop down list.
    • Select the ‘Cancel your Mandate’ option.
    • Enter the required details.
    • Click ‘Cancel Mandate’.

    Alternatively, you can complete the relevant form here. 

    You will also need to advise the company that the payment is going to that you are cancelling the direct debit.
