    Thanks

Interested to know if you found the footpod any use/benefit ?
If so what were the main benefits

    THANKS

    I did.

I run in dense forests when in the in-laws. Means distance and speed doesn't take a hit.
    Also treadmill running.
Cities too with skyscrapers. No line of sight required.

Finally and possibly most important. Cadence.

Hi biomed32, yes I was selling it, Basster got in before you I am afraid.

There should be some more for sale I would imagine, if I was you I would set up instant notifications for this thread so you get notifications for when someone replies and you can snap up any more that come on sale.

Hey how do you find the Fenix 3 in comparison to the Fenix 2?

    What are the main differences/improvements/shortfalls?

  • Registered Users Posts: 12 tech232

    the biggest improvements for me:

    Speed of the interface
Battery life in watch mode with bluetooth on for notifications
    The lighter weight
Better screen quality/clarity I never liked the negative screen on the v2.
    Wifi sync
    Music controls.

The rest of the package is pretty similar and I was happy with these on the v2 : great gps, battery life, sensors, swimming recording , size, casual watch looks etc etc

I have owned most of the previous Garmin and Suunto multi sport watches and but they always left something wanting, this one seems hit most of the items on my multi sport / casual watch wish list, however I need to race with it to be sure.

I have a Fenix 2 without hrm, got a 620 at Christmas and only wear the Fenix 2 for occasional casual use now. 6mths old, purchased through AKW.
