Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Silly season is just cranking up.

Watch the prices being quoted now doubling by the time the window opens.

Hummels and a wrecking ball midfielder with a healthy injury history is the minimum expectation from Woodward this summer. This is his third attempt at the same summer shopping list, so no more excuses.

No more excuses? Wtf are you talking about. He bought Dimaria and loaned in falcao last summer. Without champions lg football that was a massive thing to get done.

Even if Liverpool managed to grab a late goal there, they were never catching us. They don't look like a team chasing top 4.

They didn't even look like one chasing that 3 wheel car in that stupid ad.

I presume we want a Chelsea win tomorrow to take points off Arsenal? ... A win for us tomorrow will probably mean United v Arsenal will be a 2nd/3rd playoff.

Ha 4 of those was under the master himself although yes I agree we go in tomorrow with confidence flying high - love to win tomorrow and chase those 8 vital points down as quick as possible... I'll be a happy boy when I post that magnificent Champions League anthem here :)

If my memory serves me right a fella we long curly hair scored few against us then.

Don't have worry about him now ;)

Didn't they beat us 1-0 the first game of the season under Moyes a few years back? ... All I can remember is Fellani running the show, he was absolutely brilliant that night.

    Hate this fixture too.

Leading 3-1 and conceded 2 in the extra time.
Opening game of the season Fellaini killed us. If not for De Gea it would have been a disaster. RVP's debut too.
Last season fixture was a blessing in disguise though. Moyes was sacked.

Who exactly did he beat off for those signings?

A bit like the Mata transfer, we were the only ones in the auction for players being voluntarily offloaded by their clubs, but still paid record fees.

Woodward is a chump and he has a long way to go to build a solid reputation as a football chief exec.

He's had plenty of time so I'm hoping for the best.

What are you basing this on may I ask?

We had never really been willing to spend really big bucks (as much in part to Fergies no value in the market stance of course) but Big Ed has has not only loosened the purse strings, he has cut them off and turned the purse upside down.

There is also the small matter of the record sponsorship deal with Adidas that eclipses every other football team in the world.

Not to mention the countless other sponsorships he has had a hand in.

He has had a MASSIVE part to play in securing the teams financial well being for generations to come.

In a world of FFP thats as important as on field success.

    Chump me bollox.

Southampton, Spurs, Liverpool and City all dropping points would've been asking for a little too much, I suppose.

Villa may as well be a man light with N'Zogbia there, the most brainless player I think I've ever seen, anticipates nothing.
