I have said it on here a few times but I didn't want to let myself get sucked in only to be severely disappointed like the phantom menace did but screw it I couldn't but help giggle like a little girl looking at that today.

The Chewie/Han bit was no dual lightsaber reveal (by far my biggest OMG moment watching a trailer) but it was as close as I think we'll get.

I'll say one thing for JJ Abrahams amy of his films he always does very impressive marketing.

I know I'll probably be burned but I really am excited for this. The way I see things if it's on the same level as Revenge of the Sith or Empire Strikes back I'll be happy.

Oh - I remember it well.

I was a new(ish) staff nurse and everyone knew I was a mad sw fan. The ward got together and bought me tickets for the Wembley set exhibition. The film came out only a few weeks later and to be honest I kind of enjoyed it, but there was also an emptiness. I watched the news that night and there was a chap on the telly who reviewed it by saying 'I'm not 8 anymore'. I think that this summed it up for me also. Saying that, I'm more than a bit exited waiting for the new trilogy. I have rather high hopes!!

The time periods appear historical in nature. Rogue one i think is around Ch 4, or just before. The next anthology film (tbr: 2018) is meant to be about a young Han Solo. The final one (2020) is rumoured to be about boba fett.

Time will tell.

No, Rogue One is about the stealing of the first Death Star plans. The Bothans were the second Death Star. Presumedly the sequel Rogue Two will focus on them.

Rogue Three is also in development. It’s about the crack team of Resistance fighters who steal the plans for the Starkiller base, enduring many sacrifices, only to discover the plans were exactly the same as the first and second Death Star.

Seemingly Rouge One is really going to play up the gritty angle. I'd be very excited for that, I'm actually looking forward to seeing different views and styles within the Star Wars universe
