Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Meh. It's Arsenal. Predictable 3+ goal win for United.

I miss Fergie, played 7 defenders, including Rafael and Fabio on wings and won 2-0.

Rafael O'Shea Gibson Fabio midfield vs Arsenal and still won it.

Hopefully game is decided at OT, if it's a draw then can't see us winning at Emirates.

Will probably have to avoid this match thread as it's slready becoming more Utd vrs Liverpool than anything to do with Arsenal.

This is a really tough one to call. I kind of get the feeling that if Arsenal take their chances they should win.

Though I wouldn't be surprised at all if they give the game to Utd.

However Arsenal are far stronger both in defence and the centre (if we get Coq/Rambo/Caz). If a game of football breaks out, they should have the platform they need.

I wish this game was today.

    Could be a goal fest.

Hard to call, a high scoring draw would be ideal, multiple sendings off and bannings!

Most likely unfortunately, as inevitable as an away loss to Stoke.

United will win if they play hoofball against us

Obviously. That's how Stoke did it.

Poor Arsenal, they are completely clueless at how to defend to the point they unravel at the mere sight of a high ball.

United will win if Arsenal score less goals than us.

All quite simplistic and incorrect views BTW.

Still why should that stop the average boardsie

A draw with arsenal to win the replay would be ideal as Utd game against Chelsea will then go ahead on April 18 rather than being refixed for the 2nd last game of the season.

Helps the mods get the bans out of the way early:P

Although depending on the result there will be a few who won't pop in until it's over with their stirring spoons at hand.

Anyhow,2-1 to United. We all know by now that United and goalfests don't go together this season.

United players will be wearing black armbands in support of fallen comrade Jonny Evans, framed by the FA in collusion with the rest of the teams in the league, tshirts with Jonny's face will be worn pre game

    Justice for Jonny

Can't see Arsenal winning this even though United are a mid table team at best. I just don't think Wenger has it in him any more to beat United.

Now that United are playing a Stoke game I think it'll be even harder.

    Who's reffing it?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,745 ✭✭✭✭AdamD

If Arsenal score the first goal they could better them, but they'll start too slowly as always.

United are 4th with 10 games to go how are they mid table at best?

United being a midtable club with a spoofer manager playing hoofball football it can only be one result

    3-0 United

That's where mental toughness comes in , he has to drill it into his team he will win. You wonder why people often label arsenal as bottlers.

The facts of it are clear to everyone, United are for the most part sh1te and Arsenal for the most part will roll over against them regardless of that. And that's roll over in the puppy dog sense rather than the steamroller sense unfortunately.

If they turn up like they did against City a few weeks ago they should have every chance but I won't be holding my breath.

Spot on. They've done the square root of fcuk all against Utd for years now. Even last season, when utd were pure sh1te, Arsenal managed to not beat them. I hope Arsenal do them, but I wouldn't put any money on it.

To the game itself, we have a good home record this season and Arsenal don't look like they can break there losing streak against us.

    Man utd win for sure

I'm heading over to this on Monday night, I have a good record v Arsenal over the years :pac: The atmosphere last year against Arsenal was unbelievable in OT so hopefully it's more of the same.

After reading Paul Scholes dribble* on in an article about Ozil I feel over qualified.

*better dribbling than he could ever manage with a ball mind.

Arsenal fans are morphing into Liverpool fans with their delusions. Guess that's what happens after 11 years without a league title.

I think the graph shows that's also how long it took Liverpool fans to lose their minds.

Wonder if we will continue the trend

Too many people talking **** in here for the sake of it, because they have nothing better to do on a Saturday afternoon.

No chance of real analysis of the actual match in hand when posters are constantly taking snipes at each other and intentionally making troll baiting posts....

Beat United here and end their season. Let them battle it out with Liverpool for fifth and sixth.

But arsenal don't have the bottle to go to old trafford and get a result. United will beat them on Monday.

Yeah, Arsenal generally have a meltdown at old trafford. Part of me wants to see it happen again
