Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Care to expand on the other part of the reason for the Utd team being the way it is? You'll have to explain it very slowly as us Arsenal fans as we aren't obsessed about ye as others are.

I'm not worried :o Though I do appreciate the links to the explanations.

I could list off what I think the reasons are, but every other United fan will probably give you a different set. To be honest, if Louis Van Gaal can't figure it out, I'm probably not going to.

Regardless, who ever wins tonight will do so because they played a better game of football.

Not if it's a repeat of the 2005 FA Cup Final

Would love to see a high scoring game here, but I'm gonna go with my gut feeling. Utd win with Rooney bagging a brace.

  • So happy Mertesacker starts :)

    Welbeck?

There's an advantage to Utd already

Hes not great but in fairness he is our only player that will be able to deal with Uniteds long ball game.

Well at least its not a no hoper. Only 2 years ago I would have called it that. Now Arsenal haven really pushed on from two years ago :(, but now that United has lost their Fergie mojo at least its a proper game. I think Arsenal can do a job on them.

  • Oh no..not the long ball wildcard again

After 3 super boring q-finals, the cup needs a decent match.
    So 0-0 then.

Fellani could have a field day arsenal midfield very lightweight.

    No Giroud concerns me greatly.

    Very odd decision from Wenger

I'm hoping United go through, preferably in a replay.

I wouldn't fancy Liverpool's chances of beating Arsenal at Wembley.

Is he carrying an injury? Surprised he isn't starting

Wenger obviously thinks maybe pace up top can stretch Utd?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,762 ✭✭✭bmcc10

Thankfully welbeck doesn't like hitting the net in Old Trafford.

I wasn't aware of an injury anyway, must be a tactical decision like you say. He's on the bench though, so I'm sure he'll be on at some stage.

    Did Liverpool win yesterday?

Ox in the Ramsey role? Coquelin, Ox and Cazorla is a very attacking trio..

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,333 ✭✭✭bad2dabone

No Giroud is disappointing. interesting though that welbeck starts in the striker role. Happy that ox and alexis are on the wings, hard working players who'll put in a shift.

shearer and keane in the studio, should be interesting

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,725 ✭✭✭✭blueser

Shearer and Keane in the same studio? This could be better than the actual game!

Would think it's Ox right, Cazorla in the Ramsey role? Alexis and Ozil chopping and changing between centre and left.

They're as likely to win any as United are, more likely actually according to the bookies.
