Rather see him fight sooner...He only took two leg kicks if I recall, although getting his weight down for FW might take some time

    Those body shots. Christ.

Lindsay is/was one of the worst in the division but this was nevertheless a fantastic showing form Duffy.

Man what a start to this card!

Let's hope it continues like this.

Whoa!! The good and bad of Ryan Benoit in the space of 20 seconds.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,455 ✭✭✭weemcd

Savage fights already. Won me some dollar on Duffy. As soon as he landed the first punch I knew Lindsey couldn't take his power.

As for Sergio Pettis he was cruising until he got clipped! Crazy. Great start tonight 3 finishes

Paul Daley move out of Benoit. Out of line.

Sergio Pettis fight is a prime example of why I love MMA. Thought he should have finished him in the first round but at best cruising to a 30-27. Dick move after though completely spoiled it.

Such a shame. He knew it was stupid and apologised. I still expect Dana to give him an aul bollocking though.

This fight not last long... If it does, both fighters will gas very early on.

The absolute state of this fight.

That took the momentum out of a good start to the night.

Dam them HW's were poor. landing 6 punches a round.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,438 ✭✭✭✭El Guapo!

That fight should've been first of the night. I'm falling asleep now after that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

i dunno lads. We were spoilt at the beginning with lighter weight classes at the beginning of the night but heavyweights know the score. A wrong move and any fight can be ended in seconds. It might not be hugely pretty to look at but a slow and calculated game plan is a good way to go about things.

Still enjoyed that ground game from Rosholt. Very nice technique.

Nah, it was a poor fight. They were gassed during the walkouts.

Elias is swinging far too wide with his punches. Narvaez countering well.

Didn't like Elias in the Tuf house but he is talented. He sets a serious pace.

I agree, and he didnt even look at his best tonight, a little flabby

Evidently fear is not a factor today haha.

This card is living up to the hype , 6 fights in and no decisions

Both Elias and Cruickshank looked rather pudgey in their fights. Elias seemed chuffed with himself adding on 25-30 pounds post weigh in. seems rather odd since he looked rather bloated in his fight. Normally his cardio is great and looks like he could fight for days. Didn't look up to his energetic self.

Sunderland about to take another thrashing? ;)

In fairness, his defense is Miles better than theirs..... but that's not saying much. #poyetout

That is as clean a left hook you're gonna see tonight I'd say. Beautiful.
