    No work tomorrow yaaaaay!

I've given up on the whole work lark for a while. Was getting in the way of holidays, reading and box sets. I think my self imposed retirement needs to end soon though 😢

This is the thing. I only imagine scones as a sweet treat.

I am doing a wedding tomorrow and start late, but I hope some scones will be left over. I will jam the feck out of it! :D

Scones for a wedding? Is that for the breakfast next morning? Or do you mean from just the normal day?

football friend. I still have that cup of sugar ;)

Hopefully not the same cup?ha..I'm picturing it on your windowsill covered in cobwebs while you stare out the window, the dark clouds amplifying an already gloomy day and suddenly a break in the clouds...the sun shines through....stick the kettle on love.

Usually its for Hotel itself, but we do get weddings where we have to have them for wedding reception in addition to canapies.

I just think Ian Brown used to be a savage looking man but he's become so gaunt. Ten Story Love Song was one of my all time favourites.

Ian Brown is a legend, I even have one of those 'money' t-shirts he wore with The Stone Roses!

Yeah I love Ten Storey Love Song amongst many others of theirs!

I was in England the time of the Oasis and Blur craze. All the guys looked like the Gallaghers and walked and talked like them. I've never seen an obsession like it.

Excuse me but I wrote that last month in a thread. What I said was, Oasis wanted to be Ian Brown. Yes my life is discerned by posts.

What did you think of Human Traffic.

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 8,867 ✭✭✭eternal

I would say that The Happy Mondays were less influenced and Shaun Ryder was more of an individual maybe? Not everyone wanted to be like The Stone Roses.
