Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I got 2 pairs of orthotics, custom made after a visit to my physio. I had them before I started cycling. When I get a bike fitting I make sure to have the fit done with the orthotics in my road shoes.

Only down side is getting caught in the rain, and before anyone asks I don't like Pina Colada

The orthotics dont cope well with water, so I always have overshoes in my pocket.

RSscan in Belgium is the place to go. Many Pro cyclists along with Olympic athletes use them. Kelly and Lemond started with the father Jempi and now the likes of Gilbert, VanAvermet etc. use them.
It is all done in a single day. You fly into Brussels and are collected at the airport and brought to the lab up near Antwerp. Then you spend 2 hours being scanned and analysed. Get lunch and go for a walk for 2 hours. Come back and they have 2 pairs made but then tweak them for another hour to get them exactly right before driving you back to the airport. It cost €400 excluding flight when I went over a few years ago which you could easily pay here for a plaster moulded set.

Not sure what op's condition is but I wear orthotics for flat feet and was advised by consultant there was no pont wearing on bike as your not loading the foot the same as when you walk/run.
