I have possibly seen it in the sweet shop in the arcade beside the Cineworld by Jervis St.

Would help if you mentioned where in the country you are though. ;)

    This is true.

Obviously no woman who has been pregnant can speak for all pregnant woman. But in fairness, being pregnant isn't ever going to make you NEED toffee popcorn.

Maybe she might crave it, and maybe being pregnant might make her talk her partner into believing it's a necessity.

But really ... she's having an easy time of it if she's craving that sort of thing, rather than puking her guts up for the nine months.

Any reason that she can't source it herself? Rather than making you do it?

    Jesus, chill out!
I realise it is not a necessity for life in the same way as oxygen is!
If I changed the title to "would like" rather than "needs" would that make you happier?

Not me, for one. It would lose the implied meaning, all that extra colour and context that the words alone don't convey. That simple poetry of which we're all capable by means of saying what we mean, rather than what we say...

She's pregnant. I get what 'needs' means in that context, and your opening post was all the richer for it!

Best o' luck to ye both.

    ;)

Please "want" and "need" are like "apples and oranges". They are completely different. Pedantic is just a go to word people use because they are incapable of taking criticism.

Lidl, Centra, Dealz, Tesco, Xtra Vision all mentioned here so far. I have a feeling that your search wasn't exactly an extensive trawl.

    Now you are being pedantic.

Dealz are showing this 6 pack

    http://www.dealz.ie/sso-6pk-butterkist-popcorn

I have gotten big tubs in lidl, but they were seasonal, not sure if they always have smaller packs. The big tubs are great containers, microwaveable with perfectly clear lids.

If you can't find it you could heat some sugar in a saucepan and pour it over regular popcorn.

Our local Maxol/Mace have it too....mmmm. Actually first time I'd seen it there. Looked like a new brand.
