    Hi, I would like to set up a 3rd level student account. What documents do I need and how do I go about this ?
    Is there any charges, and can u get a visa debit card ?

    Thanks for contacting us on Boards.

    You can open a student account by contacting your local Bank of Ireland branch, to open a new account you will need to have photo ID and proof of your address.
     
    We offer a 3rd Level Student Current Account to applicants who are 25 or younger and are in full time third level education.
     
    You can apply for a debit card with a 3rd level account provided you are aged 18 years or more. If you are between 16 years and 18 years you will need to have the written consent of your parent/guardian.
