    Good stuff.

    What happened?

Cannot see any other comments that look controversial

Tony Pulis is already planning a Summer bid for Gestede.

Liverpool need to step up a gear here. Blackburn getting too much ball.

    We're going nowhere.

Ibe and Moreno are missed, tbh.

What kind of Pulisball is this Blackburn team playing?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 71,802 ✭✭✭✭Ted_YNWA

Can't seem to string any decent passes together in final third.

Good practice for playing against Utd anyhow with Gested playing the Fellaini role.

How bad was Skrtel's injury, I missed it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,477 ✭✭✭✭Knex*

Skrtel still at the ground. Is it good news he wasn't sent straight to hospital, yeah? Or pure speculation?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,018 ✭✭✭✭klose

    Idiot lovren

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,466 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

    Lovren makes me angry.

Terrible ball by Lovren leading to Can panicking and getting booked.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,996 ✭✭✭✭billymitchell

That card should have been lovrens for a terrible pass.

His back took most of the fall but it did look bad. He gave a thumbs up when leaving on a stretcher as the crowd sang his name.

    Pitch is dreadful

That Skrtel injury and delay might have disrupted things.

I just hope to get to halftime and start again after the break

Markovic doesn't even try to beat his man! Once he gets it his first thought is how to get rid of it.

Noticed that at a couple of matches at other grounds this week and weekend, bad weather contributing or something?

We miss Skrtel against that big chap.

What's the problem with Markovic? He was bought for his pace and dribbling ability but so rarely tries to take his man on.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,477 ✭✭✭✭Knex*

My commentator on that last Lovren tackle "He goes down as soon as he feels the contact"

How the hell do you expect him not to? He was clobbered!

Not sure, Rodgers has been complaining about it for a while however.

Supposedly it's a pitch with a 10 year life span but hasn't been replaced in 14 years.

Can't be replaced this summer either because of works being done on Main Stand.

that was a tough watch,Blackburn getting plenty behind the ball around the box will be hard to break down,a bit of Cout magic needed

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,648 ✭✭✭mav79

I'd bring Sakho on to at least compete with Gestede, he would also get the ball moving from the back a lot better.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,352 ✭✭✭Ardent

Lovren is stinking the place out again. Awful player.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,130 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

We're not playing with any of our three CBs, not surprised at the shakiness.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,552 ✭✭✭✭Utopia Parkway

Poor game. No intensity from Liverpool today. Whether the Skrtel injury knocked them off their rhythm early on who knows? 2nd choice defence has looked shaky at times. Blackburn are like a budget version of the old Stoke. Launching crosses at Gestede from all angles.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,477 ✭✭✭✭Knex*

I want Moreno on, and let Sterling roam forward more.

    Any word on Skrtel?

Trying to get a cross in, a low % shot, winning the odd corner - it's not really enough.

He needs to be looking to use the ball with a bit more initiative. He seems too happy to take the 6/10 option instead of looking for something better.

Meant to be still at the ground so hopefully nothing too serious.
