    Hi all,

Wondering if theres a handy way to re-paint the rim where the brake removes the paint without having to repaint the whole wheel. Maybe some kind of paint pen or similar?

    Thanks

Most rims have a bare aluminium alloy brake track.

Sometimes that is coated with ceramic (e.g. Mavic Exalith).

Either way it is not paint and should not be painted.

If you paint the rim you may die horribly.

... re-paint the rim where the brake removes the paint...
 Even if the brakes had removed paint, do you not intend to use the brakes again?

    Mavic eclipse rim.

Assuming you mean Mavic Ellipse wheel, as in the track/SS wheel, they were not "painted" black, but rather have/had an anodised coating on the brake track. As mentioned, if you don't intend to use them with brakes again (presume going fixed gear?) then they probably can be painted, but just hope you never got to sell them on!

You can use black electrical tape on the brake track. Works quite well.
