Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    1. Preheat oven to 180°C/350°F/Gas 4. Lightly grease a 19cm/8″ round cake tin and line the base with greaseproof paper.
    2. Put the flour and sugar into a mixing bowl, sieve in the cocoa and bread soda and mix well.
    3. In a small bowl, beat the oil, vinegar, vanilla essence and water.
    4. Add the liquid to the dry ingredients and mix until well blended. Immediately transfer to the prepared tin.
    5. Bake for about 40 minutes until firm to the touch and well risen.

Had an After Eight bunny yesterday. Lovely minty dark chocolate, not sickly at all. Suppose that's kind of an egg.

Don't like Easter eggs really so won't have any this year.

People eat Easter eggs before Easter?!

Sure the anticipation is better than the egg itself :P

I know they're more expensive by weight compared to a bar but I just love to shape!

3 for 5 euro on the small ones, can't beat it.

Had a Ferrero Roche one last night. Trying to find them is hard, high demand.

Right chaps. I need your assistance s'il vous plaît.
Come Sunday, what's the story like? Do the shops have discounts on eggs or what?

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,800 ✭✭✭Lingua Franca

I haven't eaten any eggs yet as they don't sell them over here. I did, however, eat all 5 bars of chocolate I bought along with a mold to make some for my kids. Shopping trip for me tomorrow.
