    Guys...
Has anybody come across a plug that has one square pin and one round?

My father bought a set of lights from Aldi at Christmas and there was no adapter included...
Have contacted them and they have none

Have searched web but can't find anything that matches...

    Thanks for any help

    Looks like a DC jack.
Rope light generally uses mains unless it's the flashy type which has a control box.

I think it's proprietary for the flasher chasing unit.

You could probably make it a static with the standard fitting.

Unless you use a rectifier though you tend to loose a ~30cm starting section of LEDs

    ..if it is rope light.
