Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Chain/Chainring/Cassette worn???

    Hi

Can someone please tell me if both the chainring and cassette need to be replaced here. Can one tell from the photos provided whether or not they are worn? The chainring seems to have very sharp 'spikes'

The chain is obviously badly worn according to the chain stretch tool. The chain also skips quite badly. I have a new chain and cassette ready to put on.

Do I just replace the chain first and see if I get any skipping or do I put on the cassette as well as the chain? If I get no skipping with both new components do I leave the chainring well enough alone??

    Thanks
