    You can fly Dublin to Tokyo for as little as €600 if you book well in advance. As a tourist you can get a JR Rail Pass which will do you for all JR Rail lines, including underground and intercity lines, even the Shinkansen, absolutely essential. Hostels in Japan are amazingly good and very reasonable, 2 people could get a private double room for as little as €30 per night. Food wise, you don't have to splash out to eat well in Japan, you can get amazing little Ramen bars that'll charge the equivalent of €5 for a seriously good meal.

    Spending money, however... You're gonna want a lot, trust me! :pac:
